If you received your diagnostic imaging exam at a hospital or imaging center, you may receive two separate bills.  One bill from the hospital/center and one from the radiologist.

Please be assured that you are not being billed for the same service twice. Your diagnostic image consists of two distinct services. These are known as the technical and professional components. When a diagnostic image is performed at a hospital/center, radiology services are billed as two separate bills.  The hospital/center bill represents the technical component and account for items such as use of the imaging equipment, contrast agent, pharmaceuticals, supplies and technical personnel (the imaging techs).

The bill from SNHRC is for the professional interpretation of your diagnostic images. The radiologists at SNHRC are specially trained physicians who study and interpret your diagnostic images and generate a written report that is sent to your doctor or the attending physicians that ordered your images.  The radiologists at SNHRC are part of a private practice, and are not employees of any of the hospitals/centers where they provide services, therefore, our professional services are billed separately.

Southern New Hampshire Radiology Consultants (SNHRC), is a physician-owned professional corporation providing Diagnostic Imaging Services to patients in the greater Manchester, NH area.
SNHRC is comprised of a group of highly trained, board-certified radiologists, with fellowship trained sub-specialists in the areas of Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, Pediatric Radiology, Interventional Radiology and Breast Radiology.
